Terrifying Carjacking Incident

A carjacking occurred in Belfast city centre in the early hours of the morning, involving a young baby and its mother.

The incident happened at around 3:50am when the father, who was driving, got out of the vehicle to make a delivery. Two men approached the car, with one getting into the driver's seat and driving away with the woman and child still in the back.

The man held a piece of broken glass to the baby's head

After driving a short distance, the man turned and held what the woman believed to be a broken bottle or piece of broken glass to the young baby's head, threatening the child and telling the woman to exit the car.

Once the woman and baby were out of the car, the man drove away.
