Life has been demanding in the second decade of my marriage, and my husband and I have barely managed to have traditional "date nights". We do get out for various reasons, but romantic occasions are rare.
Recently, we found some time for couples-time and went to watch a movie, but unfortunately, the only available show was "The Materialists".
I feel obligated to warn my readers to stay away from this snoozefest, rendered more ridiculous by its somnambulating lead, Dakota Johnson.
This experience highlights the importance of making time for romantic occasions and not getting caught up in daily routines.
