Sean 'Diddy' Combs could get out of prison in May 2028, serving less time than initially expected after receiving a 50-month prison sentence.
The prosecution and defense were both unsatisfied with the sentence length, with the prosecution seeking 11 years and the defense pushing for 14 months.
"The need for general deterrence warrants a significant sentence," said Judge Arun Subramanian. "A substantial sentence must be given to serve as an example to abusers and victims alike.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Combs may serve even less time than anticipated. Author's summary: Diddy's sentence might be shorter.
