Twitter Domain to be Retired
The social network formerly known as Twitter has announced that the twitter.com domain is set to be "retired."
As a first step, the company is requiring users with hardware security keys or passkeys to re-enroll within two weeks.
X's Safety account: "By November 10, we're asking all accounts that use a security key as their two factor authentication (2FA) method to re-enroll their key to continue accessing X."
- Users can re-enroll their existing security key or enroll a new one.
- Enrolling a new security key will stop other security keys from working unless they are also re-enrolled.
