Rugby Wins Gold Award for 16th Consecutive Year

Rugby has achieved a blooming success, scooping several awards at the prestigious Heart of England in Bloom competition.

The town won gold for the 16th consecutive year, retaining the Gold in the Small City category. Additionally, Rugby was presented with the judge's discretionary award for Horticultural Excellence and the Heart of England in Bloom Overall Winner.

Rugby's submission included contributions from various groups, including schools, volunteer groups, and conservation organizations such as Butterfly Conservation Warwickshire and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Rugby has also been nominated for the national Britain in Bloom 2026 Small City category.
