Ng Tsz-lok Denied Bail After Arrest
Ng Tsz-lok, a 32-year-old man, was denied bail by the West Kowloon Court on Thursday after being accused of inciting unrest.
Ng spent nearly 5½ years in custody for his alleged role in a conspiracy to trigger explosions at public venues in 2020.
- He was arrested by the police's National Security Department for alleged rioting and sedition offences.
- Ng was also accused of encouraging others to confront authorities during mass gatherings by giving protesters bows and catapults.
- He faces a count of inciting others to take part in a riot on November 14, 2019.
Ng was among five people arrested in a law enforcement action that also saw HK$250,000 (US$32,200) seized.
