Thursday's FTB: At Least the Jays Won
I hope you didn't watch the Leafs game. I watched the first period and a couple of minutes of the second, where John Tavares had a remarkable shift. However, Cayden Primeau's performance in net was subpar.
It's not just the goaltending.
This comment from last night's discussion summed it up. The Leafs had their best offensive performance in terms of volume and quality of shooting in some time, but it was overshadowed by poor goaltending. John Tavares achieved his 500th goal in a disappointing game.
