Gigi's Pasta to Open in Western Market
Gigi's Pasta, the newest addition to Western Market's dining lineup, will begin service with a soft opening on Thursday, followed by an official opening next Tuesday.
The restaurant, owned by husband and wife team Stephanos and Constandina Andreou, will serve build your own and signature pasta bowls with house-made sauce, operating from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.
Constandina Andreou stated that the couple chose Western Market in Foggy Bottom due to its proximity to GW and the steady foot traffic in the food hall, after plans for a location in Dupont Circle fell through.
Gigi's Pasta takes the place of Bussdown D.C., which closed in December 2024.
According to an application approved in September, the restaurant will operate daily.
