Ferrari has announced a multi-year contract extension with British driver James Calado, continuing their collaboration that began in 2014.
Calado, from Worcester, England, has won three Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships with Ferrari in the LMGTE Pro category of the FIA World Endurance Championship, in 2017, 2021, and 2022, driving the AF Corse team’s 488 GTE alongside Alessandro Pier Guidi.
In addition to his overall victory at the 2023 Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans with the number 51 499P, Calado achieved two LMGTE class victories in the legendary French race, in 2019 and 2021.
With 27 wins and 62 podium finishes over 130 races, Calado has had a successful career with Ferrari, starting with his first podium in 2014 at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
