Disqualified Driver Pulled Over Twice in 10 Minutes
A 58-year-old man was caught driving twice in 10 minutes while disqualified, according to police.
The man, Said Abi-Merhi, appeared in Bathurst Local Court to be sentenced on two charges of driving during a disqualification period.
Police stopped Abi-Merhi twice in South Bathurst, with the second location about one kilometre from the first, at around 6:10pm on April 10, 2025.
Abi-Merhi has completed a referral into treatment program, the court heard.
His driving history is "certainly not the best", according to the court.
