Getzenrodeo "One Last Dance" – A Bittersweet Conclusion?
Organisers of the Getzenrodeo are contemplating the future of the event, which may not continue after its 11th edition.
The German Hard Enduro, a highly acclaimed race, recently hosted the sixth round of the Hard Enduro World Championship, where Mani Lettenbichler secured the 2025 world title.
“It is a lot of work... we put many hours into the planning and running, but we do it as a passion and as a team. At this time we are not sure if we want to carry on because we only want to do this if the will and the desire is there to put in the hard work.”
Co-organiser Matthias Schubert cited commitment and costs as reasons for uncertainty about the event's future.
