Portugal. The Man Covers 'Golden' from KPop Demon Hunters
Portugal. The Man has released a cover of "Golden," a hit song from the soundtrack of the film KPop Demon Hunters.
The film follows a K-pop group called HUNTR/X who hunt demons. After its premiere on Netflix, "Golden" reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
I've recently fallen deep into K-pop — big fan of [K-pop group] TWICE and others. But once 'Golden' found its way into my dreams, it was inescapable.
According to PTM frontman John Gourley, he has sung "Golden" many times with his daughter and wanted to break it down with an acoustic guitar and strings, calling it a "beautiful arrangement."
