Royal Arcade courtyard plans withdrawn as hunt for new tenants continues

Royal Arcade Courtyard Plans Withdrawn

Property management agents for the Royal Arcade are "actively marketing" to fill an empty unit at one of the city's busiest shopping spots.

An application for revamp work outside unit 16A at the Royal Arcade has been withdrawn from Norwich City Council's planning portal.

The application, lodged in 2023, detailed plans to resurface the courtyard and add seating, as well as convert the empty unit into a bar.

Despite the withdrawn application, agents for the Royal Arcade continue to search for new tenants to fill the empty unit.

Agents for the Royal Arcade are still keen to see the unit filled.

The arcade has recently seen new businesses move in, and the search for a new tenant for unit 16A is ongoing.
