Erika Kirk emotionally recounted the devastating moment she learned her husband, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, had been fatally shot during a public event in Utah.
In an interview on The Jesse Watters Show, Erika described how a phone call from Mike McCoy, Charlie's chief of staff, shattered her world. She was accompanying her mother to a medical appointment on the morning of September 10 when McCoy called in a panic.
"He was shouting, 'Charlie's been shot! He's been shot!'" Erika recalled tearfully.
Erika rushed out of the clinic and collapsed in the parking lot, calling the experience an "unbelievable nightmare."
Erika claimed McCoy had "fled" the area after the shooting, adding to scrutiny over his behavior during the critical moments.
Erika Kirk's heartbreak reveals not only the tragedy of the shooting but also concerns about the event's security and the immediate actions of Charlie Kirk's staff.
