BT Pension Scheme connects to dashboard system as PDP hails 75% coverage

The UK's largest corporate defined benefit pension scheme has successfully linked its 250,000 members to the national pensions dashboards ecosystem, nearly a year before the official deadline set by the government.

Through its administration technology provider Procentia, the BT Pension Scheme – valued at £33 billion – became the first of Procentia’s clients to join the system using its IntelliPen administration platform.

“Pensions dashboards have the potential to transform the way people think, feel, and engage with their pensions. We’ve long supported the programme and look forward to the next phase of the rollout.”

— Jill Mackenzie, Chair of the BT Pension Scheme

The Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) reported that roughly 75% of all pension records eligible for inclusion are now connected. These include over 60 million workplace and personal pension records and tens of millions of state pension records.

With fewer than twelve months remaining before the 31 October 2026 statutory connection deadline, this milestone signals strong progress in establishing a unified pensions data system across the UK.
