The iconic 1962 Jean Louis gown, last auctioned for $5 million, reportedly sustained a large tear in the right strap, lost several crystals, and showed stretching around the back seam after Kim Kardashian wore it.
On Monday, Kim faced questioning while attached to a lie detector as her All's Fair castmate, Teyana Taylor, pressed her about the alleged damage caused by wearing the dress at the 2022 Met Gala.
Teyana Taylor asked twice, "Did you whoop Marilyn Monroe's dress?" to which Kim calmly replied, "No."
Teyana pressed further: "So you're saying that it got to you already whooped?" Kim responded, "I don't know how it got to me, but it's perfect now."
When asked, "So when you tried it on, what was the dress giving?", Kim maintained her composure but eventually joked:
"You're gonna cost me like $10M in insurance. Let's move on!"
After the intense questioning, Kim turned to the polygraph operator Stephanie Jackson, who confirmed that Kim's statements were truthful: "All of it is true."
Kim Kardashian denied causing intentional harm but acknowledged the insurance costs involved.
