“Baby Driver 2” Script Completion

The script for Baby Driver 2 is finished, though there is no confirmation yet on whether the original cast, including lead Ansel Elgort, will return. Jon Bernthal is rumored to have a more prominent role in the sequel.

“There is a script for ‘Baby Driver 2.’ That is something that actually exists,” Edgar Wright confirmed on the Discourse Podcast. “But most filmmaking depends on factors beyond you — timing, financing, who’s available. You’re not always completely in control of those things.”

Future Projects and Prospects

Wright's next project after The Running Man remains uncertain. It could be a remake of Barbarella starring Sydney Sweeney or the long-awaited Baby Driver 2. The original Baby Driver was a financial success, earning $227 million worldwide on a $34 million budget.
