Wabash Workers Among Competitors At International Lineman’s Rodeo

Wabash Workers Compete in International Lineman's Rodeo

Twelve line workers from Duke Energy Operations Centers in Wabash, Bartholomew, Hamilton, Jefferson, Monroe, and Shelby counties will participate in the International Lineman's Rodeo this fall.

They won the opportunity by coming out on top in various competitions during the Midwest Lineman's Rodeo held at the Duke Energy Indiana headquarters last spring.

Lineman's rodeos test job-related skills that line technicians rely on daily to maintain service and restore power in different weather and conditions.

Line workers were recently preparing for these challenges in Plainfield.

The International Lineman's Rodeo will be held in October.
